James Alder

James Alder had a lifelong passion for painting wildlife. Starting his career as an apprentice in the art department of a north-east newspaper he went on to write and illustrate natural history articles. A former senior consultant sculptor of birds and flowers for the Royal Worcester Porcelain Company he also appeared on TV many times and widely lectured both in the UK and US.
