4 star review
The Mick Ronson Story offers a valuable insight into Ronno, the man who never lost touch with his humble northern roots and who always maintained a powerful sense of who he was and where he came from, despite making the quantum leap from his modest Hull council estate upbringing and job as a gardener with the city’s parks to finding himself catapulted into the spotlight as David Bowie’s creative foil throughout Bowie’s era-defining Ziggy Stardust phase… Always held in great esteem and revered by his peers, this is the long overdue tribute-cum-celebration that Ronno’s distinctive talents and legacy have thoroughly deserved.

'‘LET'S DANCE! Fabulous BOWIE BALL line-up confirmed and thin white duke-inspired artist's ceramic tributes arrive at the first DAVID BOWIE WORLD FAN CONVENTION
Amongst those who knew David Bowie, few knew him on as many levels as drummer John Cambridge, whose attendance at the convention has been confirmed. Whilst being on hand at key life events, including Bowie passing his driving test, it was also on the musical front, introducing Bowie to Spiders From Mars guitar legend Mick Ronson and drumming on 1969’s Space Oddity album, that Cambridge made huge contributions. He visits Liverpool amongst an enviable line-up of authors after publishing his own autobiography, Bowie, Cambo and All The Hype.’
