Rupert Creed
Rupert Creed is a writer and theatre director specialising in verbatim documentary drama and large-cast community plays. He was the writer of Made in Hull – the opening event for Hull 2017 City of Culture. He is the co-writer and director of Turn and Face the Strange a multi-media stage show celebrating the life and music of Mick Ronson. He was BBC Producer on the innovative digital storytelling project Telling Lives and a Broadcast Co-ordinator for the BBC Peoples War project. He has written and presented several documentary features for BBC Radio 4. His books include Turning the Tide about the 1968 Triple Trawler Tragedy, and Steeltown that tells the stories of steelworkers from Scunthorpe. He lives in Hull.
